NBA Daily Fantasy Plays For Sunday Feb 23, 2014

Hey Potters, after my three part series on the basics of playing daily fantasy basketball, I have gone back and hit the reset button on my record. I withdrew all funds in my Fanduel account and decided to start over. Starting with a $23 dollar balance I decided to grind it out like a beginner until I reach my goal of $600. This was all on February 10th, before the short NBA All Star break. As of this morning my balance sits at around $157 all won through a variety of 3 man leagues, head to heads, 50/50s and lower level GPP’s.

Now on to today’s games.

Dwight Howard has come off the all star break with the same motivation he went into it with. In his past 7 games he has only dropped below 40 FDP’s one time. Today he has a very juicy matchup vs the smaller Phoenix Suns. Chandler Parsons also should shoulder some of the offensive load if James Harden sits out with an elbow injury.

Robin Lopez is the main beneficiary from Lamarcus Aldridge’s short absence with a groin injury. Posting 31 and 45 in the two games Aldridge hasn’t played in after the All Star Break.

Fade DMC-Coming off an injury he only put up 22 fdps last night.

Tristan Thompson and Anthony Bennett are both safe plays for as long as Anderson Varejao is out.

Kyle Lowry Is quietly having a stellar season and has a great matchup at the point guard position.

For as long as Dion Waiters and CJ Miles are out with their respected injuries Jarret Jack should be a nice plug and play to reach value and free up some salary elsewhere.

The return of Pau Gasol has cut into Chris Kaman’s value making him no longer a mainstay in my lineups.

I reccomend checking @sports_25tolife twitter account through the day for other plays and injury news to keep your team winning

Didn’t think of Bennett until I read this, nice Brian! I’d like to know some of your other fades. I am on board with Cousins as he still looks to be rusty. I more than likely will be fading the Denver and L.A. back court. D’Antoni has like 50 damn guards now. No one is safe!

Even if harden plays ill be fading him on his hurt elbow, even with the huge upside i stay away from marshall, + id stay away from a lot of players in the chicago heat game, play lebron if butler doesnt go. But if butler plays hes one of the best defenders of lebron in the league plus chicago plays a slower back to the basket style of play.
