NBA Daily Fantasy Feb 27, 2014

Protip Of The Week.

In Daily Fantasy it is very easy to fall in love with the lineup you set, even if there are some glaring holes. The way I counter this is by having a buddy of mine (also a DF player) read over my lineup to make sure there are no bad matchups, battered players, or maybe he knows of a value player that I missed when doing research to free up money elsewhere.

Feb 27, 2014 NBA Daily Fantasy Help

Today there are only four games. At 7pm EST The Bucks take on the Pacers in a matchup many assume to be a blowout, however last time they played the game was a lot closer than predicted. Also at 7pm EST The Wizzards take on the Raptors  in a matchup that boasts plenty of value in the frontcourt, along with two of the best point guards in the NBA right now. As always TNT has a juicy doubleheader for us starting at 8pm EST with the Knicks taking on the Heat in Lebron’s first game back since breaking his nose, and finally in the nightcap the Nets take on the Nuggets and the big question surrounding this game is weather Ty Lawson will finally make his return from some broken ribs.

Plays

Kyle Lowry- Had a terrible shooting night in the Raptors last game and should get back on track in what figures to be a fast paced fun game vs the Wizzards.

Brandon Knight- Is the only piece that remains consistent in the Bucks rotation. Knight played a stellar game last time out vs the Pacers netting 30 points to go with 8 assists and 5 rebounds.

Aaron Brooks- Makes a great spot start if Ty Lawson remains out with broken ribs. Brooks was recently traded to the Nuggets and has played a big role right away. While he is still learning Coach Shaw’s offensive system, look for Brooks to at the very least reach his value on most sites.

Carmelo Anthony- Melo boasts pretty good career numbers vs Lebron in the regular season and don’t expect that to change tomorrow. Melo is the lifeblood of the Knicks right now, trying to put the team on his back and fight for a playoff birth. Melo has been averaging around 40 regular points in the Knicks last couple games.

Timofey Mozgov-  Is now the starter for the nuggets and should still be fairly cheap on most sites across the board.

Tim Hardaway JR.  Could make for a great GPP luckbox, The rookie has had spurts this year where his shot has been dead on, and hopefully with the extra minutes he is shouldering, he can start a new streak of great games vs the Heat tomorrow night.

#23to600 Update

I find Daily Fantasy Sports tough… hard to find the cheap value play guys. And sometimes the superstars don’t show up, and hurts my lineup. I usually score around a 260-270, but not good enough for 50/50s or GPPs.

Nice write up. I just found the site, could you share a link to the series you mentioned?

What’s up Foles, good stuff. I wasn’t at first, but now I am looking at Middleton for a cheap SF. With the Butler buy out, it really should open things up for he and the Alphabet?
